Spring is in the air and many of our pairs have been taking advantage. Although some of our couples are too private to catch on film, we believe they too have mated.
Now we cross our fingers and await egg sightings. |

A few of our females, some of whom we knew had mated and others that we only suspected had mated, have delivered their eggs.
The eggs are now resting peacefully in the incubator under the care of their surrogate mother. We expect to see healthy and beautiful hatchlings in the near future. |

| Here are just a few pictures of our first hatchlings. Many of the babies from our extremely successful breeding year are or will become available soon |

I would love to see more Eastern Chain Kings, besides the few W/C you normally see. I would also like to see some locale specific animals, especially Gray Band Kings as well as Eastern Chain Kings.
|
But I would like to see more variation when it comes to colubrids. There were plenty of corns, as always. Were they cutting edge? I am not sure.
There are others as well, but that's where I come in. I hope to add more of a selection for the customer in the shows to come! |
I was pleased overall with the turn out for this show. Even with the troubled times due to the economic recession, the turnout was great!
